"The hotel was in a great location. The staff were friendly and approachable despite my lack of availability to speak much Spanish or Catalan. The beds were comfortable. There were only a couple of issues with the room. Main issue was there was no way to turn down the heat (thermostat was locked at 22 degrees, it felt much warmer). We could open the door, but the street was quite noisy. The shower is in need of repair, I was worried the pole attaching the shower head to the wall was going to fall...

"We got the Suite and it was huge. The room, the toilets were all very clean. Friendly staff, nice buffet breakfast. The parking is not in the building, but there is a convenient parkling lot quite close. Only one recommendation, the bath has see through walls from the room. Would suggest privacy glass for the shower room,"

This is on the other side of San Sebastián so added several km to an already long hike...in addition the check in process is the worst I've ever experienced. It took us 2 hours + as there is no person at the front desk to help. "Even though the square was super busy and noisy, rooms at the back are perfectly quiet at night after the last train. Had to wait a bit for a space in the car park but this was due to los Reyes Magos so probably it is normally no problem. Very good shower and bed. The front desk is only open at limited hours but there is a 24 hour number to call and check-in/out is very efficient. Breakfast next door is good, even if it is a little later to open than ideal (there are also some limited kitchen...

"Absolutely beautiful view and gorgeous design. Family room is not suitable for more than 2 people as the bathroom is transparent and there is no separation between bed and living room. Parking situation is bad. But value for view and hotel itself was worth the price. "
