"The stay was a one nighter on the way north from Spain. The guy on reception couldnât have been more helpful and friendly. The hotel is tired and scruffy and in need of a refurb but for the money it was good value. "

Very quiet location. Close to station.
Reception friendly and efficient. Hotel furnishings and floor coverings look worn and tired. My double-bedded room on small side but adequate. Bed comfortable. Good wardrobe with adequate number of hangers. Bathroom compact but adequate with very good shower.
Buffet breakfast - Continental, no hot food - very good and with local produce. Good value.
Could not get internet via WiFi.
Overall: a good stay and would happily...
