There is a beautiful hiking trail right by the hotel. Good souvenir stores right next to hotel. My daughter had her birthday while we were there and the staff ordered her a Black Forest birthday cake and decorated the table for her. I was very impressed with their service to help make this a memorable day for my daughter.

Modern, well renovated. Area was okay. Close to a good Irish pub with good food and drinks. The parking was pretty tight for our van and it was difficult to park. However there was no outside parking an available so we had to pay to park.

Lots of trails and cuckoo clock shops

Lovely remote chalet that is still ideally situated in the black forest to visit, with a short drive, the clock makers and glass blowers and triburg falls. Owners are very friendly, the food is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable.

We love the clean rooms and comfortable beds , we would gladly stay there again.

Max the owner was cordial and helpful so was the staff Adriana. We booked a double room. However, two days before our scheduled stay, we received an e-mail offering us a free upgrade to a studio, with a full kitchen. We gratefully accepted. The property was delightful, and gave us the opportunity to shop locally, and cater for ourselves. There was parking right outside the door, and the local village was delightful. Recommended without reservation.

We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church.
