"Well first the staff was helpful and professional. The location is just spectacular. You are literally across the road from the beach and it has off street dedicated parking. A lovely parade along the beach, great for a stroll. Good places to eat near by and a Coop virtually around the corner. I was able to set up my laptop in the common room and had the place virtually to myself. I'd stay here again."
"The hotel was further from Lyndhurst than I expected and although that wasn't an issue, it was further than I anticipated. This for us was the only downside to the stay. The room was cosy and comfortable and somewhat quirky. We loved its uniqueness. The hotel restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed our dinner there on our overnight stay. We would definitely stay again as it was convenient for a stop over before embarking on a cruise the following day from Southampton."
"For those planning to visit the dockyard, you can't get any better. We had a great view of HMS Warrior from our window. The hotel is directly across the street from the rail station and the bus station and about 100 yards from the main entrance to the dockyard. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The room was very modern and well kept."
"The problem was finding it! Late at night. Very dark and poorly lit. It is around the corner from an empty unlit building. Apart from that….. room a good size bed and pillows very comfortable. Room was very clean. 10/10 doesn’t exist. It is 7-8/10 could be higher if you could just find the place!"
"Shocked to seen at Kitchen and bathroom disgusting unclean TERRIBLE
No mugs for coffee tea when arrives.
Recommend not go there.
Bedroom bed mattress uncomfortable
Old Sheet duvet looks like from Charity"
"Good location and staff are very helpful.
But we only found out rooms are literally above the pub and a bit outdated. Name of the hotel also misleading and we thought it was by the water"
"La stanza nella casa di Wendy è davvero curata. Wendy ci ha accolti in modo molto caloroso. Bello l'arredamento; c'è molta cura dei dettagli, anche verso cose che solo una donna può capire ;) (il panno in microfibra per il make-up mi ha davvero stupita)
Il letto con Tv incorporata è sorprendente, molto comodo e profumava di bucato!
Grazie Wendy"
"It was terrible!!!
Can’t contact anyone to get the key!!!They are not organized !!!
Even finally have someone answer the phone and give me the lock box number and that was no key inside!!!
We waited two hours have no one call us back !!!
At the end we go to another Inn to stay!!!
We need our MONEY BACK "
