"Great location in the heart of Cardiff. Outside of building was under construction work and lack of lift is worth considering. Older style accommodation but good size. Staff were super friendly and helpful."

"I loved the location and staff. The rooms were small but well stocked and comfortable. The second room we rented only had a sink -the toilet and shower facilities were in the hallway but it didn’t seem to be much of an issue unless you awake several times a night. A hidden surprise that we found out about by mistake…there is a walking path just outside the hotel entrance “behind the restaurant” (take a left) that leads to a beautiful trail and meanders to the road near the bay."

Using the WhatsApp group linked at the door was slow, and by the time someone was almost to be sent down, another guest simply let me in at the door. "The hotel was difficult to find as it’s a small door at the end of a building block. There is no parking, you need to use any of the city lots at £14 a week. Room was quiet and clean. Haystacks is an excellent cafe downstairs."
