"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasteel Ryckevelde. The property is at the end of a lovely (albeit bumpy) forest path and the castle's interior is majestic-feeling. Our room was well-equipped, with all the essentials for cooking our meals. The patio restaurant was also a great place to relax. Our only criticism is that the room, especially the windows, could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Hope to return!"

"Booked the hotel because reviews were good and it did not disappoint. Very comfortable beds, and very clean. Our room had a separate private bathroom and shower which concerned me initially but ended up being a cool feature. Location is good, about 6 minute walk to tourist area and bars. Hostess was helpful. Would stay here again. "

"What a fantastic place. We were greeted with a smile and a hug and received the most personable service we have ever had. Not to mention the breakfast with all of the homemade delights. "Everything was very nice but we were very disappointed with the bathroom which was very outdated. Small bath with a shower over but no shower curtain. The door was a wooden concertina door which didn’t open or close easily, quietly or completely. This spoilt an otherwise lovely place. The breakfast was ver good."
