"When searching for somewhere to stay, it would be helpful if the word “Germany” was added to Weil am Rhein and not “Basel/Weil am Rhein” The map did not clearly show the border. Having said that, I paid 45 Swiss Francs for a 7km trip in a taxi (that’s close to $90 AUD) from Basel Train Station. The taxi from Germany back to Basel Railway Station was 30 euros. I found being opposite Rhein Centre and close to some good restaurants very good. "
