"I went out for a historical fencing competition in Carson City and was quite happy with this hotel. It's an older property but it's very cute. A lot of care has been given to decoration, such as hand painted designs on the walls. It was very clean. The only fault was a bit of soap residue or something left on the shower handle but nothing that bothered me. The floor in the room seemed very clean. The included breakfast was "continental", and I prefer a full breakfast for when I do sports...

"This is an older property, but it is well maintained and clean. The size of the room was adequate and having a nice balcony with great views was a real plus. Being right on the beach of the lake is beautiful and it was perfectly located for our activities during our visit. The staff was very efficient and friendly. Would certainly stay here again. "

"Such a great little lodge near so many great attractions in south Lake Tahoe. Only changes I would recommend are cleaning the floors of the rooms more often because so much dirt comes in and out from nature and adding a recycle option for trash. "
