Great place to stay in Wolfsburg especially if your there for the VW factory. Hotel is a easy 5 minute walk from the train station. Check in via a kiosk located by the front door. Took less than 2 minutes to sign in. Kiosk has language options if like me your Deusch isn't that strong. Keep your receipt from check in because it will have your access code for the building and room. Push in the front door when code is accepted and be careful the door is heavy and self close. Rooms are clearly...

For an American traveler, this was the Ultimate German hotel. The restaurant was outstanding and the breakfast (included) was the best we had on our trip. No air conditioning and it was a warm day but not a big enough to take away from a true German experience.

Hotel Alter Wolf was beautiful. The area around the hotel was walkable and felt very safe. The Wolfsburg castle was a short walk away and we spent a lot of time there. My main downside is that there was not a refrigerator or coffee machine in the rooms

We got the attic apartment and had a wonderful stay. Our son really loved the upstairs room with all the windows looking out at the town and all the rafters in the ceiling. Very spacious and homey. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant downstairs and also had a great breakfast buffet the next morning. Definitely recommend.
