"This hostal is only 3 km away from Segovia, a convenient location, but would not be a suitable place to stay for international travellers who don't understand Spanish. We booked a day before our arrival, but soon realised we were not expected. The staff did not understand English, we did not undetstand Spanish, a lot of confusion...with the help of another guest there who acted as interpreter, we were told to wait, a room had to be found, cleaned especially for us in a hurry. "The hotel was in the perfect position for leaving the car and getting the bus into Segovia. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we would not recommend the restaurant. I have waited quite a while before submitting this review because looking at other people's comments I kept thinking I am mixing up hotels but I fear not. The meal was not mediocre it was atrocious.
