"This hotel is new (2017) and is currently in great condition. The room was spacious and beds very comfortable. The staff were awesome and went above and beyond to help with several non-standard requests. Only stayed one night and had to leave very early for the airport but they prepared a quite tasty breakfast box to go. The restaurant a couple of doors up has quite tasty food as well. All in all a wonderful place to stay, close to Shwedagon and Karaweik. "

"Place for prostitute. Not for tourist. Even u booked online, the staff all unsure and saying what booking. In the end after 15mins then they allow us to go room. Upon enter, so many mosquitoes inside and i went the toilet the toilet bowl smell or urine. In less than 30min we check-out and booked another hotel. Totally regret booking this. Even if its 10 dollar, i will never ever come or book here again. No proper lobby, and alot youngster below book for 1 2 hour sex time and in out of hotel."

"Room’s hospitality is the best, TOP-UP Everyday such as mineral water bottles, coffee, tea, shower foam, shampoo, toothpaste, etc. Room service Everyday as well. Only suggestion as my opinion: guests may prefer myanmar traditional breakfast instead of English breakfast. Location, cleanliness, friendly, comfortable for guest, all are great. Laundry service and room service menu with reasonable price. "

An unknown soldier's grave. This place is known by locals as the war cemetery or the Allied cemetery. It is an incredibly well maintained cemetery honoring the soldiers who lost their lives in WWI and WWII. We were overwhelmed by the number of graves and the 27,000 other soldiers who were honored but unable to be buried. If you are in Yangon you should definitely make the trip to the cemetery. To get here we took the circle train out of Yangon Central Railway station to the stop Kyaikkale (one after the Golf Course stop). From that station we walked to the road and hailed a taxi. It took 4 or 5 to find someone who could speak enough English to take us there. We paid 8000 Kyat (appr. 8 USD) for the ride there, for him to wait, and for the ride back to the station. It takes about 15-20 minutes in the taxi to get there. The locals use the cemetery more like a park and were more interested in us than anything else. This was irritating but as tourism is so little still it is understandable. Entrance is free.
