"My husband, two dogs, and I loved everything about our 3 day stay here. The house and large deck were just gorgeous, with a great, uninterrupted backyard view of the woods and a stream; it felt like a breath of fresh air and we all felt very at peace there. It was slightly hard to tell from the pictures, but there was a huge fenced in yard the dogs loved. The house was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed, plus more that showed the owner put a lot of thought and intentionality into making the place ready for guests. If you stay, go to Wild Roots Cafe and spot eagles on the Potomac Scenic Railroad. "

"Great family getaway. Cute and fun, i would just say it was lacking on providing full amenties and cleaniness. For example there was a brochure of listed items provided in cabin and their charges, we didnt have a couple of listed items such as the smores kit. Our unit was equipped with full items to cook with such as oil packets but the unit next to ours (used by same group) had oil and others things we did not. Just inconsistent with products available. With this in consideration i would rate overall 6.5/10. Be sure to pack you own stuff for basically a camping trip, to include food items, az surrounding area is very rural and limited on places for supplies and food. "

"We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to sleep. There was no way to control the temperature. We opened the window for the second night and it made it less secure but more tolerable."
