"0/5 – Worst stay of my life. Plummer House Newcastle was an absolute disgrace from start to finish. The room was filthy on arrival — dirty sink and work surfaces, stained floors, damaged furniture, worn cabinets, filthy fridge, marked and stained chairs, and mugs that looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. This is not “student accommodation” or “serviced living” — it’s neglect. The female manager was rude and unprofessional, even trying to make me check out 12 hours earlier...

"The whole process of being able to stay there was awful. I had emails asking me to verify my identity but no correct link sent. I was threatened with a cancellation without refund desite the fact they had not given me the opportunity to do what they asked. Having finally been sent a link I verified and arrived to be told this was very common. At the property Fire Doors were constantly janmed open."

"The company managing the property only seemed interested in telling us about their requirement to make an arrangement to cover breakages at the property during our stay. We could either pay an insurance fee or a deposit which would be returned minus an administration fee 14 days after we vacated the property - why 14 days? There was no clear information about this requirement until after the booking was made, by which time we could not cancel. We assumed that due to the operation of a scheme...

"Ideal family base for our show at Utilita Arena and shopping at Metro Centre. 10-15 mins away by car. Cosy wee house at decent price. Would definitely book here again for myself, partner and 3 kids. "
