"The first floor room was convenient for traveling with a dog plus the area was well lit The staff was friendly and someone was at the front desk 24/7. The stay was comfortable, safe and an enjoyable experience."

"We stayed here cause we had a concert at The Windjammer and didn’t realize until we arrived just how close we were! It was awesome for anyone attending a show there AND right on the beach, which was fantastic. My only complaint was that our room’s window was right under the outside hall light which was SOOOO bright and the blinds let in way too much light. A blackout shade that goes over the window would’ve been the perfect solution and this is just from someone who sleeps lighter than a feather...

"I am really trying to look for a positive, but I also want to be honest. The hotel is not clean or maintained but worse than that...the staff does not care. I can understand that you might be short staffed when it comes to housekeepers but there is no excuse that there are no wash clothes or hand towels at 11:00 am, especially when there are two capable front desk workers doing basically nothing...well they were chatting with another worker on end. Lots of no work happening! Could not quietly...

"Said we were okay to check in late, when we showed they wouldn’t let us in and canceled our reservation. We called 3 times to confirm it would be ok."

"I had a 12:30 am arrival time so my husband and I decided to stay in a hotel instead of driving an hour back home. The shuttle bus was prompt and the driver very friendly. When we arrived, as I was walking through the lobby, I could tell this hotel's management took alot of pride in making sure your stay was an excellent experience. Our room had a wet bar and sitting area and king sized bed. Bathroom had a walking shower. All the furnishings were all updated and we really felt indulged in this...

"Would have thought extra towels, linens, pillows and blankets were in room for the pull out couch and number of people staying. Was disappointed that all we had was more than half roll of toilet paper and a full roll. Staff were exceptionally friendly and informative about our stay , breakfast and pool, etc."

"Will book again! A great price & location to the beach & all things surrounding Charleston! Breakfast was good with options such as: cereal, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, fruits, yogurt, muffins, & juices. There is a pool & fitness center on the bottom floor around the corner from the lobby. You can check out from your phone!"

"The hotel is well worn, carpets are stained in places and ripped in others. The beds were lumpy and creaky and some curtains were torn. Overall the place had a very musty smell which was stronger in the room. The furniture has seen a better day and many widows are fogged. I absolutely would not recommend this place especially at the rates they are charging."
