Unreal scenery, tasty menu and drinks, comfortable lodging! A perfect getaway!

The room was spacious and charming, with a heated bed that made our stay extra cozy. The amenities were just right, and we really appreciated the fresh milk provided. The kitchen area was clean, and the location was fantastic. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

Clean, comfortable, and spacious accommodations. Quiet. No complaints. Full kitchen. Lot of natural light through large windows. Good curtains for sleeping. Propane grill not far away. Two community hot tubs (which was too hot).

An interesting small hotel located in 2nd floor of bar and restaurant. Attractive price. Good fast service in restaurant. Expect noise from the bar before midnight.

Clean, spacious room with great amenities and a great location! Bathroom was fantastic.

Service was very friendly and helpful. The upgrade was appreciated and the fact that I could checkin earlier after a long flight. Location is great close to a bakery in what seems like a good neighborhood. Bed was comfortable , heater in the bathroom was great Z soap, conditioner and shampoo provided. Maybe the only thing I would change is not charge extra for laundry as it’s off putting.

Great location and perfect motel for what we needed - comfortable bed for the night and clean. Super lovely hosts who made sure everything was as we needed.

Bed was comfortable. Staff was great. Nice place.

I stayed almost two weeks in a one-bedroom suite. Although from the outside, Ascot Vale Motor Lodge does not stand out among the string of places to stay along Riccarton Road, my room was outstanding. It appeared to have been recently refurbished and had everything I needed (kitchen, table, couch, wardrobe, bathroom, and bedroom. The bed was good and the wifi worked well.

We love our stay at this place. Thank you very much.

Loved how they held to the theme, even signs are to inmates from wardens. Be sure to take your own towel. Lots of fun, but probably not what mature travelers will prefer for long visits.

What a great place! Friendly staff, easy parking, HUGE room; separate bedroom from the lounge and little table with 2 chairs in the kitchenette. Updated, clean, quiet (quieter after the bar closed on our side of the building) and comfortable beds. Easy access to shops, restaurants and church ~ There is a laundry that made it nice to use rather than the sink!

All wonderful except the shower was Very difficult to maintain a comfortable water temperature. Went from scalding to cold .

Excellent holiday park for inexpensive accommodation while travelling. Close to airport and campervan rental depots. Friendly staff!

Reasonable cost with good facilities. Airport is close.

Just a short walk to tower junction
