"It was a great hotel, it was cheap and very clean. The staff were patient and considerate. The fact that there was even an option for single person rooms was awesome. Good option for those of us who don't exactly make a lot. Sometimes, I walk past the building because the buildings are so packed together, it's noticeable enough to identify it though. "I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The superior doible room with tatami mats was quite possibly the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The location was impeccable, the staff helpful, check in and out were easy and the room itself was gorgeous. Some highlights.. 1 - Bathroom clean and spacious enough with hot(!) water for showers. 2 - Powerful, effective room air conditioner. 3. The three bed room was surprisingly comfortable, amazing value if not the best in the Kyoto area. However, there are some minor complaints. 1- The room door annoyingly squeak/shake whenever other guests...

"Hotel is close to 3 train lines and only 2 changes from Kyoto station. The rooms are small but this is Japan so I did not have a problem with that. It’s very well run and the rooms and facilities were well kept. Only thing would be for the housekeepers once a week to wipe down the desk and the top of the tv because it had a lot of dust on it. "
