"The hotel is in an old building. The floors are uneven and very creaky to be expected. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom wet tired. The bar was very quiet but the landlord was very friendly and chatted with me for some time which made being solo pleasant. WIFI works just fine through the building. Breakfast was lovely. "

"Unfortunately I didn't sleep at all because the mattress was in such poor condition that I was lying on springs. Otherwise it was clean and bright. I think the owner needs to change the mattress or buy a mattress topper"

"The Shepherds hut was on a farm in a lovely position in a field with no one overlooking but the local livestock.It was nice to have the option of sitting outside and eating. Inside had a 2 ring gas stove which was nice to make a cup of tea and all the cutlery plates etc required.A wood burner for the cold nights too. It was nice to have a toilet inside and the shower and main toilet a short walk away . It was ideal! No frills,worn and clean which the really reasonable price represents in this...
