Upon arrival, I found the hallway completely unlit, creating an eerie atmosphere. An old mattress was discarded in front of the elevator, adding to the neglect. My room's city view was merely a backdrop of rooftop houses in the alley. The walls were scratched, dirty, and poorly painted, with shoe marks and sticky floors throughout.
