"Would give this hotel a lot more stars if I could! We had an amazing time from the moment we checked in l, to when our stay came to an end. The hotel is elegantly designed and perfectly maintained. Our bedrooms were large, clean and had a good layout with the most comfortable bed and pillows I could imagine. "Uhuru, the owner of this place, was very welcoming and any request was fulfilled within minutes. Bungalows are very clean, swimming pool as well. Lots and lots of space for chilling and relaxing with the view of the sea. Chefs were creating interesting and tasty dishes from Swahili kitchen. Staff was very friendly as well. This place is great for animal lovers as they have lots of cats, dogs and monkeys. Ahsante Sana!"

"I had assumed incorrectly that Zanzistar was on the beach, so when I arrived, I was really disappointed. I felt claustrophobic in the garden which is surrounded on all sides by high fences. The beach bar which is a 5-minute walk away was underwhelming and there were lots of people smoking. Unless you lay in the front row, in the sun, you couldnt really enjoy the sea view.
