"Clean hotel in a great location. Breakfast was good (especially when we walked down the street to get Ruckus Donuts to supplement it!) and staff quite kind. We parked for the day and walked everywhere in town. As others have said, the walls/floors are thin, so we heard people walking upstairs and doors closing in the hall, but we still slept well."
"This place had "magic" written all over it when we pulled in. It was all downhill from there. Room 1 - our assigned room - had an uneven floor that threw us off balance several times. The bathroom was missing the plug for the sink drain, reminding ourselves to watch where we put our rings or down the drain. If you drop your soap in the shower, too bad. The whole thing is smaller than an old phone booth. The Continental breakfast was on the patio - in a nor'easter. Great planning, huh!??

"Our room was pretty nice with a great view from the balcony in front of our room. More hooks and a shelf or two would be nice in the bathroom. The Restaurant was a big disappointment for dinner, while breakfast was pretty good."

"This gem of an inn is exactly what you want when traveling. They are doing everything right! The accommodations were roomy and comfortable. Really nice common area for meeting other guest and relaxing. Kitchen with plenty of options for breakfast or and afternoon snack. And the view was spectacular! We would absolutely return."
"It is easily accessible to where we wanted to go. Everything was clean, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. We like that they have beverages (coffee and tea) available 24 hours in the lobby. Fruits also.

"The inn is in an old historic building, with lots of original character. Fantastic to have parking. Great location, short walk to town. We stayed in the Victory room on the first floor. Very spacious, clean and nice bedding on comfy bed. Shower was nice and hot and good water pressure. Things to know: We had a window AC but no thermostat to control heat (fortunately we had ideal weather). We were next to a restaurant in the building so had to keep curtains closed as people were walking...
"Loved it! We had the 3 bedroom suite, it was well set up, lots of space, immaculately put together. We needed a late check in and an early check out and Steve, made everything work for us. I highly recommend it! Definitely would stay there again!"
"Our only complaint is that on Tuesday morning there was no place nearby to get breakfast. The hotel had good coffee, but nothing else. There is a restaurant close by but its not open on Tuesdays. We asked the front desk about breakfast and all he said was we'll probably find something open in Damariscotta, way back by Route 1. The hotel could have supplied bagels, donuts, etc. on Tuesdays knowing the restaurant nearby was closed. We did find a diner on our way to Damariscotta but it was...
