"By far, OYO Rockssar was the best 2-star hotel we experienced in this 3 week trip in the Philippines from Iloilo to Cebu (OYO in Moalboal cancelled on us last minute so not impressed =(), to Panglao, Coron then back to Manila. It was clean, simple setup, spacious, airconditioning worked and right at the heart of the city, close to the airport for transfers, staff were very helpful with needs re comforts esp when we arrived on a brownout on 40 degree heat. "Great place to truly relax and unwind, 45min boatride from Port Barton Coconut Garden offers friendly staff, decent selection of meals and drinks, nice private beach , room was clean and surrounding garden area well looked after..very friendly dog there to keep you entertained.. Kid friendly with a few activities to do.. power only available from 6pm til 9.30pm which does not bother me at all as i am there to unwind and play cards and swim all day......very very peaceful "

"Very accommodating for a late check in after flight delays. The bathroom facilities were poor, but I feel this came from the people staying there rather than staff cleaning. The aesthetics of the outside of the rooms was nice, inside very basic, curtains don’t block any light so have a large towel you can use over it. "

Speargun fishing with the captain. Hiked to a native village and waterfalls. Went swimming in a fresh water...
