"Awesome place to have a laid back stay in Phong Nha. We went in January and were the only ones in the hotel. Originally we had booked 2 bunks but when we arrived they put us in 2 private rooms. Not sure if it was a mixup or an upgrade but it was a nice change after a month sharing rooms. "

"After checking in and leaving for lunch we could not enter the room for the door was locked. After hours the family arrived back to let us in. They were called back by neighboursi. "The hotel is perfectly located - in the middle of the small Main Street and 2 minute walk from were the bus drops you off. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious but most of all the young lady on reception was absolutely amazing! Any questions about the place/what to do she would help you straight away. "Excellent stay good value for money. The nicest owner. Was able to check us in when our bus arrived at 4am. Nice breakfast included. Clean and spacious room. Hot shower, water does run out quick on the small heater. Pillows could use an upgrade + a thicker blanket for colder days. Didn't love the indoor smoking in the reception area in the evening- couldn't be smelt in the room but it felt like walking through an ashtray on the way in. Good location in town. Overall would reccomend. "

They said there will be extra cost so we demand to give us the room we book and they switch us back to the original room we booked.
