"We waited 15 minutes to check in while the front desk clerk was outside taking a break. Our questions about the WiFi were met with rudeness rather than an attempt to help. The gate code was illegibly written so it took us ten minutes to decipher and get through the gate. Five minutes before check-out time someone banged on the door like the building was on fire. "The host was lovely, the welcome was friendly and they were super helpful during our stay. The hotel is close to Caen Centre, a short walk to sights and restaurants so very convenient. The rooms are a little small but very clean and comfortable. We would stay again"

"Nice property remembering that the building was built around 1886. There is no lift but there are ground floor rooms. The restaurant is delicious and easy to access. Overall very charming and « seaside «  Ps the room was west facing and very hot in the afternoon and evening. Once evening hit and the windows could be opened it was lovely. Bring a portable fan!"

I understand if they don't provide shower gel/shampoo etc. 'cause people/traveler bring some little amount of them. But, to rent/pay extra for towels/hand towels are terrible...The cabins/rooms needs some upgrading, but the exterior/landscape are maintained enough."
