"Quite a way out of the centre (over a mile from the station not good if you’re without a car). I was woken at 03:45 by a party in the next room, out on the adjacent balcony. I called reception and 10 minutes later all was quiet. With breakfast at chf 19 each, we thought we’d go for the McDonalds next door - closed until 10:00!"

"A 4 night stay for skiing before Christmas. Accessing Spenglers Inn was a little confusing as there this is done via the Hard Rock Hotel reception. HRH don’t advertise that this is the case so only found out when I ventured inside for advice. Access through the HRH is also a bit convoluted but ok once learned. "The host was very nice and breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed a coffee as we watched the sun rise hit the mountains from the comfort of their assigned tables. Our host Renee was phenomenal and spoke very good English. The front desk is closed on Wednesday so if you plan to check in on Wednesday you will need to use cell service or use an app like whatsApp to call them. "

"The hotel is hard to find since it is in the town with winding streets, but the local petrol station came to our rescue. The room was crowded but clean. Breakfast was great. Also they gave us free tickets to the lifts and other attractions in town that compensated for what we paid for the hotel. We would like to return to the hotel and town with our family for an extended vacation; it is a great place with many things to do."

"Pretty basic hotel, but perfectly fine for a trip where you spend most of your time on the slopes or in town anyway. It's about a ten-minute walk to the lift (or the train station), or you can take the free Arosa bus. Breakfast was fairly basic, but everything was really good, especially the bread, and a good start to a day of skiing. I'd come back!"
