"We were visiting from the USA. The original hotel that was recommended to me was fully booked so I looked on the map, found this close to riverfront, reviews looked good so I gave it a try. "Great breakfast and service. Located a bit outside, but only a few blocks away from the shops, restaurants and the beach."

"The location is excellent, close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The staff are wonderful - friendly, helpful with tours and restaurant recommendations. The room and central areas were very clean, gardens lovely, the pool was also clean and refreshing. After wandering around Alter do Chao and seeing other accommodations I would go back to this one again."

"Pessima"
