"Very helpful friendly staff. Hotel very tired and basic. Bathroom heavily worn."

"Lovely, clean, well situated. Only issue was the noise, could hear every time other guests left, flushed loo etc so didn’t get much sleep. Would"

"Good place"

"Our room required to be renovated like the previous numbered rooms"

"I was very cold as the window wasnt great in my room. The seal on the bath needs replacing, I was too scared to take a proper shower."

"Good digs, lots of good pubs about."

"Our room had mold"

"The property is quaint/unusual. Not easily seen from the road if arriving in the dark. Provisions given in the room and the landing were excellent and fabulous location for Stansted airport. Otherwise very comfortable stay and would book again, but request a room with a definite bathroom."

"Adequate, appropriate, suited needs. Felt at home even for a short stay. Enjoy."

"The staff were absolutely Amazing and the hotel is lovely, really good value for money"

Great value for money and a solid choice whether you're passing through or staying a few...

When I finally got a room, the bed smelled horrible, and I did not feel comfortable or safe. What disappointed me the most was Expedia’s customer service. When things went wrong, I expected them to help me find a fair solution, but they refused to give...

"Tiny room, awful ( soft ) bed, no terrestrial TV channels"
