"I loved the fact that the Lodge is located next to Hamilton Gardens, a beautiful collection of rhododendrons and other ornamental shrubs. The Gardens attracted a lot of birds, and I sent daily bird lists to eBird."

"Only heated pool in Hellen that was not hot. More like Luke cold. Mattress need to be changed out."

"Only waffles for breakfast water from the second door running down the wall in our room"

"Need too updated"

"The room was clean with a firm bed. Beautiful view by the creek. Very close to town center."

"The staff there were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was adequate and the coffee was good. My room smelled musty and was a bit dated but not bad. Saw a herd of deer in the property next to the hotel"

"When we arrived in the room we checked the beds per usual for bedbugs and or stains. upon checking the first bed there was a huge stain on the blanket that looked like human pee, along with what looked like refried beans smeared on the blanket as well and crumbs. the other bed in the room was checked and it was perfectly clean. ontop of that I went to open the fridge and the smell of human pee hit me, and there was yellow liquid at the bottom of the fridge."

"Very clean and nice"

"Our stay was better than expected. To be clear, this is not a 5 Star hotel but for the type of hotel/ motel, it was excellent…. a 5 star experience. The staff was exceptional and the room was super clean. The unit we stayed in appeared to be newly remodeled and the bed was very comfortable. The location was within walking distance of everything downtown so that was a bonus! The breakfast was a typical continental style. We would stay here again!"

"Rob at the service desk was wonderful. We needed to make a last-minute change and he was gracious and helpful and did it for us. He was very friendly. He made sure we got what we needed. The room was very nice. Parking was easy. Breakfast could’ve used some help, but it was still nice. The property was very nice. I would stay there again given the opportunity."

"We loved our stay. Property was very beautiful in the center of the town. Room was spacious and clean."

"Have stayed at this property several times. Staff was friendly and accomadating!"

"Property is well maintained and room was clean. Overall good experience and would stay again."

"So good"

"It was very basic. No bed bugs. It looks like a property they picked up cheap and through some paint on it. Dated. No drain covers. Can’t take a bath it needs an interior over haul"
