"Having staying there last year, we had the coldest two days of the year, the property had no heating or hot water. A heater was not provided. (issue) no reception to speak too. Hey ho, we decided to stay again, knowing that problems do arise. We were staying this time for 4 days 3 nights. we had no kettle, iron. cups ect, The tv was not working, and we could not get to speak to anybody, the reception was closed. we sent an email to the booking company to pass to the hotel, with NO reply. "We went to Canalview for a girls trip. Check in was easy, room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant anf assisted with everything. Breakfast was great, it had everything we needed for the day and the setting was gorgeous. Front desk agent was helpful. Only issue was the heating, it was a very cold weekend and we needed more heat, thefe was a sucharge. There is also a surcharge for an extra blanket and pillows, and hair dryer"

"It was right in the middle of the old town. Very convenient a d allowed me to walk everywhere. The only issue I had was the constant banging during the night. Not sure what it was."

"As ever with B&B, staff were great and breakfast excellent. This hotel's a bit tired though, and the shower in my room was blocked so flooded. The area around is a bit rough - but it's near a train station in a large town, so not unexpected, and not at all unsafe. It's just there are nicer areas. It worked for what I needed though, and you get what you pay for!"

"We had a trouble and it was nightmare to find the location GPS took us to a surreal haunted place where the building could not match the description of the building what we booked. It was 8 pm and when I tried to call at the number it said, it is not in use. although time to contact these people was until 10pm. A local tourist helped us to find the way out. Flat and property was overall clean but too much hassle to find it."

"Despite reviews citing thin walls, we did not experience that. Yes, you can hear other guests, but only if they were talking loud or coughing, etc. The stairs are steep, and the steps are narrow. There's no elevator, but that's part of its charm. Nice room, with a good mattress, instant hot water, nice shower (the height adjustment was missing, but not an issue for me). One of the two large windows opened fully, allowing us to get chill night air while we slept. Not much of a view, but we didn't...

"A nice little hotel placed on the main road into Halluin. With this there’s a little road noise but nothing serious (it’s a small town). I do wonder, in warmer weather, if the window was open, it would certainly be louder. Polish up on your French. I got through with hand gestures and basic French, but the owners, certainly the man, only speaks French. Room is comfortable, not large, but doable. Shower/bath size was at the minimum size for me but, again satisfactory. Good parking out the back....

"I was unwilling to leave a negative review because the hotel owner was welcoming and pleasant, but unfortunately we left feeling ripped off. The area is quiet and safe, and the bed was clean and comfortable, but that is where the positives end. The bedroom feels miserable and shabby, with stark decor and old fashioned fittings, while the bathroom seriously needs updating and deep cleaning. There is no soap anywhere, no car park, the WiFi has no internet access, and the temperamental keycard...

"We spent two nights at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. Brugge is such a beautiful city! The hotel is in the middle of Grote Markt but the room we got was facing the back so it was nice and quiet, even with the windows open all the time. They didn’t have AC so I can imagine it can get pretty warm in the summer but because it was raining/cloudy when we were there, leaving the windows worked. The room was spacious and clean.
