"Super, super cute mid-century mod renovated cozy house, walking distance to many things in Colonial Beach. Located just off the main road, this is a great stay. Very comfortable, so beautifully decorated, and great outdoor space. The neighborhood is a little strange because it's a mix of a lot of older homes, located behind a 7-11, BUT it is just a humble area and we felt safe. "Our stay at The Gale House was perfect from beginning to end. The house was so clean upon arrival and everything was as described. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked (including coffee) and plenty of room to spread out. We were in town for a wedding so it was so nice to have a place to relax. Definitely would stay here again. "

"This place was wonderful and we'll be returning next year and the year after and so on! Beautiful property and easy host/entry. The ONLY thing I'd change is for the fridge to be cleaned out. Apparently, prior guests left so much stuff in the fridge, I had to shuffle it as best I could to fit my groceries in there. Other than that, PERFECT!"
