"I requested bath towels and 2 days later they still had not been delivered. The front desk clerk on duty advised me upon my request that I should ask for towels by 8 am. It was noon. The room was very damp so towels were not drying well. This is not a complaint against housekeeping."

"If you’re not concerned with Francy and just want to be a beach bum, this place is fine. The price is one of the lowest at this beach but takes about 10 minutes to walk to the ocean. It’s got a view of the bay across the street though."

"Great value in the off season. Pool and hot tub were great. Room was spacious and beach was right there. No restaurants on site, so hav bring your own food ( full kitchen in room) or travel offsite. Wifi was weak, but not bad to disconnect for 2 days. Will book again! "

"Nice property, it’s being updated but has a very good set up. My only issues with this property was there was no Wi-Fi, no outlet in my bathroom, the bathroom door needs painting and more towels and washcloths need to be put in there. It is very close to beach, walking distance. We enjoyed this property!"

"Check in was quick and staff was friendly. Room wasn't very clean. Used soap and bandages in shower upon arrival. Killed three cockroaches in two night stay, but I'm sure there were plenty more. Walls are thin, so noise from other guests and busy highway outside is sometimes noticeable. You get what you pay for."

"We enjoyed our one overnight. Check in was confusing for sure but we finally figured it out. We appreciated the covered parking lot, elevator and trolley to get luggage upstairs/downstairs. The outside upstairs seating area is nice in appearance but could benefit from regular cleaning. We especially enjoyed walking into town and back. Beautiful town and neighborhoods. Sunset was spectacular. Great overnight spot before heading out to early morning ferry ride in Cedar Island for OBX! "
