"I really enjoyed my stay at the Espy! I’d just finished up a long study abroad program that was mainly camping so I had a ton of gear to carry around with me. Luckily they let me drop my bags off before check-in and keep them there after check-out before I left to the airport. I got a private room and it was probably the best deal in cairns! It’s pretty simple, but has everything you need for a short stay. One tiny thing I couldn’t figure out was the bathroom light that never turned on for me,...

"Bathrooms weren’t cleaned before arrival and little ants in room. Staff was friendly and helpful and the pool was good. Understand you get what you pay for but at least wish the toilet was flushed and old bars of soap removed."

"The kitchen was well stocked and had lits of cupboards and fridges for keeping your own food organised. Great wifi, The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. Staff were super helpful. The laundry had washers and dryers ehich was good. The location was great. We could walk across the road to the supermarket and close to lots of restaurants and pubs."

"The staff are very helpful and nice, as well as the accommodation. 100% come back and recommend my friend. The only thing is, for someone who doesn’t like noisy place, it may be too much noise as this building is middle of the city and shower room is placed in the room. Anyway they provide complimentary earplugs."

"The best hostel we have ever stayed at. Location is perfect plus next door to Woolworths, everything is run and maintained really well. And the evening specials were a lovely bonus"

"جيد ونظيف والطاقم متعاونيين"

"Short but magical stay - loved the historic building, the courtyard and pool were wonderfully social, and the location could not have been better for getting to a world class chamber orchestra performance; wide ranging street food; and boarding the Spirit of Queensland train for an epic journey south. "

"Friendly and helpful staff member. Carlos assisted me with after hours check out and late check out. Property and room are what you pay for, as it is budget accommodation. Room was clean and very helpful to have a toaster and crockery. Great location"

"OMG! This is Circus Colorado!! Unprofesional staff work on reception, wery rough and haughty. They gave me wrong room , same not booking, room was on ground level ,close to kitchen and loundry and outdoor facelity. Was very noisy were young people prepere dinner late night, giggling ,laughting and loud talking... Definetly this is not for people over 30.y.old!! No more ever! Thank you! And goodbay"

"Very nice place and clean. Is a bit far from cbd so Ubered in mostly which was $15-$22. No nearby supermarkets and the convenience store nearby had very high prices. We did use the kitchen to cook our own meals during our stay which was nice. "

"Lots of space. Great location"
