"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. It is the base of the tower and arches of the choir in the Angevin-Plantagenet style. Aubance the river takes its source in the religious building and feeds the wash located next to it.
