"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things for me. The bathroom was a bit tired. But everything worked. The hotel was very pet friendly. It is as a great base for a short break in La Rochelle for the last couple of hot days in October. "

"Very welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent position for seeing La Rochelle. Interesting area good choice of eateries in area. Provision of ear plugs needed for some especially on a Saturday night. Downside is the taxi system deplored in the area La Rochelle but hotel managed to book one for us. Xx"
