The air conditioning wasn’t working the two nights we were there, and did report it, but luckily it was cool at night, so slept with the window open (we were on the 6th floor). Elevator was a luxury! Very basic hotel room, nothing fancy but clean enough and bed was comfortable."

"At first, I wasn't that impressed with my room because this is an older hotel and it was a little dated. BUT the staff was super friendly, helpful and kind. After staying at several other hotels in Portugal, I came to appreciate how large abd clean my room and especially my bathroom was. The breakfast was excellent. There was a market across the street one day. Parking was plentiful. And did i mention how excellent the staff was and how spacious my room was???"

"The smell is terrible in the rooms. It is an inescapable, pungent, odor that made me happy to check out of the room. The door hinge was rusted and broken. The towels are like sandpaper. While this hotel is well rated for cleanliness, the floor was covered in debris and what appeared to be toenail clippings. I am baffled at how this hotel receives good reviews. "
