The owners were the loveliest couple I’ve ever met, they gave us tea and cookies when we arrived and made us the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast during our stay. They were so kind and thoughtful. From organising a cooking class to massages to organising a wonderful comfortable car and driver to get us from Ella to Kandy with a visit to nine bridges on our way. "

"This hotel has up side and quite a bit down sides. The big up side is the breathtaking view and the perfect staff (Gadjen). The down sides are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk. The owner taking advantage of the hotel isolation from the city and chrges unusually expensive rate for breakfast, whuch we were not informed in advance. 2 family breakfast cost as much as a night's stay in the hotel."

"Perfectly located close to Little Adam's Peak and to the trailhead to Nine Arches Bridge. Also very close to main Ella town center making it just a very short and convenient walk to everything. The hotel staff were amazing, especially Mr Rohan at the front desk, for his warmth and who went out of his way to make this a wonderful stay for myself and my daughter. Room is comfortable and tastefully appointed with modern amenities. We loved it!"
