"The hostel is well located with lots of restaurant options in walking distance, a couple grocery, even the heart of Willemstad with the Swinging Old Lady bridge and options in a 20-25 minute walk. Population is a bit different that I usually see at hostels. Not all 20-somethings but families and older folks too. Not much happening in the communal spaces that I saw but I was out in the evening. I didn't expect the room to be cleaned/bed made very day like a hotel but it was. Plenty of hot water...

"The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was perfectly located in the Center of town, right near the main canal. It has a great porch that overlooks the main strip through the city. Highly recommend. "

"A basic property with minimal everything but good enough if you're on a budget. Kitchenette, bathroom, small lounge with not enough comfortable chairs (there were 2 but there was 3 of us, and the place is set up for 4 so it seemed strange). Easy quick walking distance to the centre, supermarkets nearby. A small nice town beach nearby."

"I won’t lie, staying here wasn’t our first choice, we actually had reservations at another resort but due to some construction, we had to move hotels & we found Hersher and what a find it was! The owners were so lovely & friendly, the room was very clean & their property was beautiful. Our rental car fell thru to add to our troubles but the owners would drive us to our locations everyday and make sure we had transportation home or at least we knew how to get home safely. "This B&B sits on a tree-filled 3/4 acre and is tastefully cared for. The owners have a small pool at the far end of the property, and a pergola on the grounds that is a restful and peaceful sitting area. Mike and Karin are friendly and welcoming hosts, ready with local information if needed. The complex includes a well-equipped kitchen which is available for the use of the guests. "Staff go beyond to be of assistance. Safe secure property. Great location to tour within Willemstad. Easy to get to Blue Bay, tour Hato Caves, historical museums. Good proximity to grocery stores. You do need a rental car on this island."
