"The room is very basic, which is expected for the price. It is about 30 mins walk from the parking lot, but that means you are higher up on the mountain. There are two scenic points 10 and 30 mins walking from the place. Food is expensive and plain, but big portions. "

"Decent location for taxis and buses. Easy to get around town to tourist attractions. The staff don't speak English so bring a good dictionary and your patience. They have a restaurant, but no English on the menu. I asked for chicken and they gave me pork twice. Big bed, good security. My shower head was broken. Nice TV, good A/C. Room was cleaned every day. They offer tours, but make sure you know exactly what you're getting and haggle on the price."

"To our surprise, no one in the hotel spoke English. We received no directions on how to get to the hotel or the address in Chinese despite having asked for it. When we arrived in Dazhai, I managed to get through to someone who spoke English and who said the hotel would send a car for us. 20 minutes later they called us that the car broke down and if we want to cancel the reservation it's OK... "We loved our stay at Greenforest Lodge. The Hotel is at the perfect spot with incredible views from the room. The room was quite nice, “lodge” feel. It’s very comfortable staying there.
