"I don’t think I can rave about this place enough. The staff there are eager to please and literally wait on you hand and food. The free breakfast had so many options you will not be hungry until dinner lol. The massages were so amazing I felt so relaxed afterwards. And the best part about the property is the views. The views from our ocean front room was breathtaking. That same view stretches across the whole front of the hotel. Sitting by the one of the pools and enjoying the ocean view as well...

Less easy to get back to but that is due to the many narrow streets rather and geography of the area and nothing to do with the hotel! The hotel is known by everyone so if you get lost someone will help you get back. It is noisy with building work going on nearby, calls to prayer, and the church bells ringing but we expected that to be the case and soon got used to it. "One of my worst hotel experiences. The air conditioning in the room did not work and there is no overnight staff to contact. It was 34 degrees. There is no bottled water in the rooms (you cannot drink the tap water). "I stayed alone at the villa in zanzibar in a lovely room. I had an excellent stay! The setting is magnificent and so peaceful. My room, spacious with a huge bathroom, overlooked the garden and the ocean. The sun sets in front of the room and the pool, which is remarkable. The common areas are large and spacious, so you can enjoy the place without disturbing each other. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The chef is very attentive to special requests.I look forward to returning. "
