"First of all, although the Jan Thiel area overall is nicer, as a resort Blue Bay is great. It’s nice, safe and close to town. The check in experience was the worst: they weren’t expecting us (even though their own print out said check in on the 16th, they had written 17 on the paper). The property manager was quickly cleaning the unit (it wasn’t dirty but maybe not used for a little while). "Nice quiet stay on the island. The house however is pretty outdated, equipment is outdated, furniture and appliances as well and not properly functioning. Area around the pool is very slippery, so pretty dangerous for children. For the price, I expected a bit more in this respect. However, the location was so relaxing and beautiful that the overall stay was still pleasant and relaxing to me. Gregory was also very helpful and kind. "
