"Bel Soggiorno means “nice stay” in Italian, and for Hotel Bel Soggiorno, this is true but also an understatement. This is the most welcoming, pleasant, and beautiful place we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and taken care of. We arrived early but our room was ready within a few minutes and we were taken there by one of the friendly staff members. "A great historic property, that was tastefully modernized yet maintained the character of its location and origins. Property was a short walk from the bus station and cable cars and an ideal spot for navigating Taormina’s sites and offerings. The staff was friendly and provided a great concierge service recommending and arranging travel, dinner reservations and sites. The morning breakfast was fantastic providing a full fare of local cuisine. The property was relaxing, safe and beautiful…....

"Hotel is nice, with a great, deserted pool and wonderful breakfast buffet. Restaurant next door is very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. On the downside, the bed was very hard, there is no parking, and walking to the cable car to get up to Taormina or to get to the public beach is on a fairly busy road. There is a bus to Taormina directly in front of the hotel."

"We had the corner room with a balcony on the 1st floor. The room was great. Perfect for the two-day stay we planned for some beach fun. Also access to the train is a mere 9 minute walk. We spent some time checking sites in Taormina. "

"This hotel was comfortable, clean, and in a perfect location. The staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful. Our son got sick while we were there and they were extremely kind and helped us line up a doctor’s visit. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Taormina."

"We thoroughly enjoyed this property our room was a little weird... room 35 its shaped oddly like an old fashion attic and unfortunately it was under the kitchen or at least close because we could hear the all breakfast preparations and dishes clanking. Other than that we loved it. We would go back. Front desk staff was very helpful with things to do and places to eat."
