"We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, as was the hotel itself. The decor was a little tired, but that did not spoil our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good choice of food at breakfast, and we had an evening meal which was lovely. Location is great."

"We're rather disappointed on arrival as the pool was closed as was the restaurant. But were able to walk into town and get meal. Breakfast was excellent and the room comfortable. Most importantly the staff were superb and very helpful. We had a fire alarm on the first night and they responded superbly. Calm and organised and so reassuring. Liaised with fire brigade and the police so that all was calm. The fire was a bin set alight with a cigarette stub. The hotel is about to close for...

"This stay was an emergency booking due to the disaster that was the eight acres hotel in Elgin which is a dump. The wonderful folk of The Millhouse not only found us a room but bent over backwards to help us. Special mention to the wonderful Janette who was wonderful. Ask for room 2 as it has a great double jacuzzi!"

"Would highly recommend this property. Close to Balmoral. Clean spacious room and bathroom with great amenities. Very comfortable bed. The colour scheme in the room was vibrant and well thought out."
