"Paula was great. The place is old but very nice, clean and the furnishings are definitely worth a look. It is close enough to walk to all stores and restaurants but you feel like you are in the country. Bed comfortable and the nicest sheets I’ve ever slept in. Sorry we weren’t staying longer"

"The hotel itself was wonderful- very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The bar downstairs was also really good, and the breakfast was really good for being included with your stay. My advice is to get a room on the ocean side if you're a light sleeper. The hotel is directly across from a bar that is open until 1am and it was very noisy. Also, there is a bell that rings every hour (one ring for each hour of the day). I would definitely stay here again, but...

"Our accommodation was in the "Crow's Nest" on the 2nd floor. It's quaint, and has a cottage look and feel. Comfy and relaxing. The view of Penobscot Bay is great! Bedroom and living area are spacious. There's a microwave, mini-fridge, coffeemaker, and toaster. Bathroom is a bit cramped, and the latch on the bathroom door needs repair. A very minor inconvenience! The innkeeper, Dorothee, is wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed and she was easy to contact."
