"I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"Olive's Guest House was wonderful. It was very newly renovated. Our room had a beautiful view and was extremely comfortable and private. Breakfasts were delicious. Everything about our stay was great. I couldn't recommend it more highly. Also, Villa Franco de Campo was easy to get around with good restaurants nearby. It was also convenient for all our day trips. I would give it 6 stars. "

"I enjoyed the feeling of having my own pad in Nordeste! The parking was super easy with quick access to the home. It was a bit chilly to use the pool but coming home to them every day was a nice experience. The interior of the home was functional and modern while upholding the charm of a Nordeste home. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to escape the fast pace of normal life. Thanks for everything!!"

"Emanuel is a really pleasant host, however it wasnt the quietest property, partly because the floors creaked everytime someone was walking and partly because some guests checked in pretty late. Overall a great way to get acquianted with island. "

"We were told there was no air conditioning within the hotel but a/c was on @ breakfast but not in the rooms. Place is run down some rooms need a candle to see in the bathroom. Recommend 2nd floor if you may have difficulities lifting luggage up flight of stairs. "
