"We hadden een chalet met mountainview geboekt. Bij aankomst bleek het een klein huisje te zijn, met 1 zijraam dat uitkeek op de blinde muur van het huisje ernaast. Geen enkele mountainview. Bij de receptie werd verteld dat het een "Mountain Lodge" was dat inderdaad geen uitzicht op de bergen had, maar dat Hotels.com geen keuzemogelijkheid had om het goed aan te geven. Na veel heen en weer gepraat hebben we bijbetaald en omgeboekt naar een sunset chalet. Daarbij werd eerst nog geprobeerd om ons...

"I thought the stay was very nice. The staff was nice. The rooms basically look exactly like the picture. They were clean. The AC worked well with comfortable blanket and pillows. The location is just about 5 minutes from the fort and souk. The breakfast was ok. Not as nice as you are going to get at the really nice hotels. But it was good quality. I would stay again if in town."

"Stedet fremstår pænt på “overfladen” eller ved første øjekast. Men det trænger virkelig til en omgang, både renoverings- og rengøringsmæssigt. Det er ret synd, for det har rigtig meget potentiale til at blive et fantastisk sted. Udsigten er helt unik, og konceptet med de små hytter er også genial. Måske vi var uheldige (også fordi vi kom udenfor den store højsæson), men vi oplevede desværre et helt dødt hotel, en beskidt pool samt et ret beskidt værelse. Til gengæld meget sødt personale. "

"Nice to be able to stay in the Jebel Sham area. Staff service was excellent but otherwise stay was mediocre. I stayed in a tent and the lighting was very poor. Could not do much. I asked about lighting and got an answer that it was to create atmosphere. If I wanted to be in a cave it would be good. Found the food mediocre especially the breakfast."
