"The Phuttal Residence is located on a beautiful river/canal. We stayed in the family apartment, though there were just the two of us. The furniture and accommodations were nothing fancy, but everything was clean and orderly. The breakfast was excellent. Even though we had a kitchen, we did not cook. "Firstly, the distance from the train station is NOT 6 minutes! By Google maps at 10pm (no traffic) it is 12 minutes away by taxi. The whole hotel reception, corridors, and rooms are shabby and dirty. We checked out early."

"Beautiful, simple room overlooking the river. Staff was very nice and friendly, however, seemed to be new and untrained in the hospitality industry.
