"Nach fast 10 Jahren nochmals dort gewesen. Bis auf den geschlossenen Pool und anderem Besitzer alles wie früher. Super Preis-Leistungsverhätnis. Schöne funktionale Zimmer mit tollem Balkon. Frühstück war gut aber wenig Auswahl. Lag wohl an den wenigen Urlaubern. Eigentlich schade das in den letzten Jahren nicht mehr in dieses wunderschöne, geschichtliche Hotel investiert wurde. Hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen und kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder."

"The Hotel is not so good as it was last year,they only clean the room on request also you have to pay 8 Euros for parking,i don't know if i will bother to stay there again "

"Adorable place. We stayed in family room for 1 night. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom is downstairs which was different but we had no problems. 5 generation hoteliers, the place is well cared for! Highly recommend. Plus the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Loved it!"

"Lovely hotel not far from the Rhine. Staff were very friendly & spoke English well. The public rooms are lovely & lovely terraces to sit out on & enjoy a drink. Dinner was absolutely fabulous, they are obviously have a fantastic chef & team. Room was a bit disappointing, small but fairly functional but nowhere to do hair & makeup & layout any toiletries. Manageable for 1 night but will book a bigger room next time "

"I was very happy with the modern room. Everything was new and the place was spotless. The road is a mess but that’s not their fault. It looks like it’s getting replaced. Should be done soon I’m sure. The breakfast had a great many choices and was delicious! The price was fair, I would stay again. "

"Overall, a great experience. The staff were all wonderful, and helped/suffered an English-heavy traveller like me. Boppard is a nice small town with welcoming people and some great restaurants. The breakfast at garni Günther was a decent buffet spread. Same thing every morning, but the amount of options available was commendable. "Clean and comfortable. At the time we stayed, 21 to 29 December 2017 the hotel was largely filled with elderly German coach parties. They seemed to be on a full board basis so the dining room was crowded at mealtimes. Luckily we were able to use the smaller room off the main area which was quieter and quite pleasant. We only ate breakfast here and there was a good range of breads, cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts and fresh fruits. The cooked aspect was not so well catered for, with buffet style...

"Charming hotel in a very charming village. Much quieter and beautiful than Rüdesheim, Bingen, st Goar etc. friendly owners of the hotel. Nice breakfast. And highly recommend dinner at hotel. Free bikes to borrow. Best place to walk and see old town and vinyards"

"Large spacious room staff at check in and restaurant exceptional. My first time ever after staying in 100's of hotels at breakfast our table was set with a porcelain name plaque with our name on it and a hot pot of coffee. If i could i would give it a 6 star in this 900 year old town. PROST"

"Nice hotel close to wine pubs/restaurants. Clean and modern with nice buffet breakfast. Very nice staff at breakfast time. Terrible check in experience. Arrived before 3 (the stated check in time) and reception was closed. Waited abs waited. Could not reach hotel by phone or via doorbell until somebody came at 4pm - there was no apology, just a remark that the stated checkin time of 3 pm was not applicable since the boss was not around. Really??? There was no message or door sign to that...
