"The property was tired and needed a refurbishment. Certain essentials were missing or did nor work. The oven knob was not turning the operating spindle to which it should have been attached,and the Micro Wave turn table didn't turn. Tthere were no plugs in the bath nor the Sink out let and the crockerty was sparse, I would say to summer visitors stay away if you are expecting air con. I had to go out and buy a fan. Other essentials were also missing. No bottle opener, not enough...

Unfortunately all this is being 'wiped out' because of the unbearable noise from the restaurant below the hotel. The noise starts in the afternoon until midnight. "I stayed in September which is out of the ski season so didn’t get the experience of it being a spa hotel as I was the only guest and had to ask to use the jacuzzi and other facilities. Staff were very helpful and accommodating though. In season when the hotel is full it’s probably a very different experience. Hotel room is a little dated but clean, breakfast was very good. It Is a good location being midway between the old town and the top of town where the gondola is."
