"It was an excellent stay, the staff was 110% helpful. Very nice and looked after our stay here. Would recommend it to everyone. Food was great. On a personal note; Saturday night they have a band I ask if they could set a time that I could propose to my fiance they set it up where we went up sat her down with a cake that said ( will you marry me it will be a time we both will never forget especially my soon to be wife."

"The staff welcomed us by the ferry where they came to pick us up. They were warm and nice. The rooms were cute and cosy. Food was made by order. They would always ask if we wanted to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and asked what time we wanted it to be ready. They were very polite and helpful when we wanted to find out where town was and where we could go for swimming. When leaving the place we had to leave early due to the ferry, where the staff had packed a small breakfast for us to take...

"The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! "
