"We had a wonderful stay! Only one night! Gal that checked us in was AMAZING!! Dinner was also delicious! Room was fresh and clean! Only very small negative was breakfast could have been a little big bigger! Not a reason to skip this hotel though! 5 stars for sure!!! "

The only disappointment was the lack of laundry services which had been listed in the properties amenities section when we booked. "The hotel is next to a lake, but does not view the water. The location is a few miles from area towns, but the roads are very winding and 6 - 7 miles take about 25 minutes to travel. The hotel is in great condition and very clean, but the beds are stiff. We stayed a night and would probably stay in one of the area towns next time. The location is perfect for an alpine getaway when you don't want any city lights or activity around you. Restaurants require a drive."

"Hotel Venusia is a beautiful hotel in the rather remote town of Venosa. We were there for two nights at the end of October, which was clearly off season. Our hotel room was large and clean, with a nice balcony. The downside was the bed was very hard, and the bathroom, particularly the shower, very small.
