"It’s hard to put into words how beautiful, peaceful and serene this property is. We stayed here for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. Staff were very friendly, food and wine delicious, and the property was truly stunning. We spent an amazing day by the pool overlooking the gorgeous vineyard. They offer a delicious breakfast and in the evenings an amazing dinner menu. I also saw a lot of reviews complaining about the narrow roads and I feel i need to clarify for anyone worried...

"We had a wonderful stay here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Truly loved the Douro Valley and seeing all their orchards. Breakfasts were perfect and dinner was always delicious. Highly recommend. Great location to get around and see all the valley has to offer. "

"We booked a room with 1 double bed and one single or twin bed in the same room, the hotel on the other hand seemed not to be aware of that and after being sent in a room with only one double bed we needed to change rooms, the advertised pool is empty, the breakfast is good, overpriced for what you get."
